Methods
Gestalt Therapy
Gestalt Therapy is an experiential approach that helps us understand your experiences as they unfold in the present moment. Together, we may explore your emotions, body sensations, or reactions to therapy itself to better understand longstanding patterns. By exploring these experiences—not just talking about them—you can begin responding to yourself and others in new ways.
Person-Centered
Person-Centered Therapy is based on the belief that there is no one "right" way to live your life or one "right" way for a relationship to function. This work isn't about teaching you what I think is best—it is about supporting you in discovering what actually works for you. Throughout our sessions, I use reflection to help you better understand your patterns, motivations, and responses so that you can make choices with greater clarity, intention, and confidence.
Parts Work
Parts Work is an exploratory approach that helps you understand and connect with the different inner parts of yourself. Often formed in response to past experiences, these parts can hold pain, protection, or wisdom. By meeting them with compassion and curiosity, you can heal internal conflicts, reduce emotional overwhelm, and integrate these parts into a more grounded and cohesive sense of self.
Relational Life Therapy (RLT)
RLT is an active approach to couples therapy that helps partners recognize the cycles they become caught in and take responsibility for their own part in those patterns. Together, we slow difficult moments down, build greater awareness of what's happening beneath the conflict, and practice more honest, connected ways of relating.
My Approach
Every therapist has techniques. What matters is how they're used.

My work is grounded in the belief that meaningful change begins with awareness. Rather than relying only on conversation, we'll pay attention to what is happening in the moment—because what happens in the moment often reveals the patterns that words alone can miss.

I tend to be an active therapist. Sometimes that means asking difficult questions. Sometimes it means slowing a conversation down so we can notice what's happening underneath it. Other times it means helping you experiment with a different response right there in the session.

My goal isn't to tell you how to live your life. It's to help you understand yourself well enough that your choices become clearer.

Good Faith Estimate (GFE): Under the federal No Surprises Act, if you do not have health insurance or choose not to use insurance for therapy services, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected annual cost of your care before services are provided. This estimate shows the total expected charges for non-emergency services, and you can request it in writing when scheduling or before services begin. If you receive a bill that is substantially higher than the estimate (e.g., $400 or more over), you may dispute it. For more information, visit cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
